Sundays at Phillips

Finding God in Ourselves and Others

Worship 9:00-10:00 am

What is worship like at Phillips UMC?
WorshipOur worship reflects the gifts of God’s people; we all help to make our worship experience special. Worship begins with a welcome to guests, and greeting. Clothing styles reflect the diversity of worshippers from jeans to ties.
MusicWe enjoy a variety of hymn styles. We’ve sung with guitars, piano, organ, JeffCO Brass, and our Phamous Phillips Philharmonic intergenerational band/orchestra. We LOVE all kinds of special music offered by our many talented musicians!
Children’s MessageThe kids look forward to engaging our creative volunteers during the Children’s Message. Then they can choose to go sing songs with the Sonsingers. (See below)
PrayerOur pastors receive prayer requests and pray for the church and world.
OutreachMission Moments encourage us to expand our awareness of service opportunities.
Message Pastor Joyce generally offers the message of the day. She always starts with the scripture. The message may be include stories, songs, film clips, and occasionally may involve a “whole lot of people” as we tell the story of God’s amazing grace and hope together.
CommunionAt Phillips, we share in communion the first Sunday of the month. ALL are welcome to participate!

Our children’s choir (kids K-6) meets during the 9:00 am Sunday service. All children are welcome to join us! We have lots of fun learning new songs and sharing them with the congregation!
